Score errors, breaking tips and anything that needs fixing right now. Read live during match hours.
How fast our scores really are, where the data comes from, what happens when we get something wrong, how the forum is policed, and why an advertiser has never seen a story before you did. If your question is not here, the desk answers email within one working day.
Everything about getting in, staying in, and getting out cleanly.
No. Every news report, match report, column, live score and standings table is readable without an account and without a paywall. You only need an account to post in the fan forum, follow teams for score alerts, save articles, or hold a membership.
An email address, a password and a display name. We do not ask for your phone number, your date of birth or your location, and we never require a social login. The verification email lands within two minutes; if it does not, check the promotions tab before writing to us.
Both live under Account → Profile. Display names can be changed once every 30 days, and your posting and moderation history stays attached to the account rather than the name. Changing your email needs confirmation from the old address and the new one, which usually takes under five minutes.
Account → Privacy → Delete account. There is a seven-day grace period during which a single login cancels the deletion; after that it is irreversible. Personal data is purged within 30 days, forum posts are anonymised to "Former member" or removed entirely if you tick that box, and only billing records are retained, because GST law requires us to keep them for seven years.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen; the reset link is valid for 60 minutes and can only be used once. If the mail never arrives, the address may have a typo in it, so write to info@catalystwebtrendz.com from the address you think you registered with and the desk will find the account manually.
Strictly necessary cookies hold your login session, your consent choice, your followed teams and your live-score preferences. Analytics cookies only load after you accept, and advertising cookies only for readers on the free tier. We do not sell or share a cross-site advertising identifier, and you can change your choice at any time from the Privacy Policy page.
Not a native one yet. The site is an installable progressive web app, so "Add to home screen" on Android or iOS gives you a full-screen icon, push score alerts and offline reading for members. A native Android build is in testing with a target of early 2027.
Latency, sourcing, verification and what we do when the feed dies mid-over.
The scoring feed refreshes every two seconds for cricket and football, and the match centre pushes each ball or possession event as it is confirmed. In practice you are three to eight seconds behind the moment in the ground, which is usually a beat ahead of the broadcast returning from its ad break.
Two places. We license the official ball-by-ball and event feed for every competition we cover, and we have our own scorers at India internationals, IPL, WPL, ISL and Pro Kabaddi fixtures. A wicket, goal or red card is only marked confirmed once both sources agree — which is why our number occasionally lags a rival site by a second and is right more often.
Almost always because a decision is under review or a scoring correction has been applied retrospectively. Anything provisional carries an amber dot and the word "Provisional" next to it, and it is either confirmed or reversed within 90 seconds. Broadcast graphics are often slower to reflect a third-umpire reversal than our feed is.
The match centre shows a "Feed interrupted" banner with the timestamp of the last confirmed event, and the score freezes rather than guessing. We never interpolate a score we cannot verify. When the feed returns, every missed event is backfilled in order and the commentary log is stitched back together.
To the 2008 season for members, covering international cricket in all three formats, IPL, WPL, ISL, I-League, Pro Kabaddi, Formula 1 and ATP and WTA main draws. Free readers get a rolling 24-month window, which covers the current and previous season of everything we track.
Yes, through browser push or email, with per-event control so you can take goals and wickets but not lineup announcements. Free accounts can follow three teams or players, SportzCrazy+ raises that to twenty, and Superfan is unlimited. Alerts fire from the same confirmation step as the live score, so they are never earlier or later than the page.
Yes. Every WPL, India Women international and Indian Women's League football fixture gets a full live centre, a match report within forty minutes of the final whistle, and a place in the weekly rankings. Two of our eleven full-time reporters cover women's sport exclusively rather than as an add-on to a men's beat.
Scraping the live feed is not permitted and is rate-limited at the edge. Quoting a figure with a link back to the page it came from is always fine and needs no permission. If you want a licensed widget or a data feed for your own site, the commercial desk at info@catalystwebtrendz.com quotes within one working day.
What paying gets you, how the money moves, and how to stop paying in two clicks.
An ad-free page, premium analysis including the ball-tracking column and the Friday tactics file, fantasy pro tips ninety minutes before lock, podcasts forty-eight hours early and the full statistics archive. Superfan adds members-only interviews, the Superfan forum, the matchday newsletter and a merchandise discount. The full comparison lives on the pricing page.
UPI through any BHIM-compatible app, Visa, Mastercard, RuPay and American Express, and net banking with 52 Indian banks. Recurring plans use UPI Autopay or a card mandate as required by RBI rules. International cards work and are charged the same rupee amount, with your bank applying the conversion.
Enter your GSTIN in the billing step before you pay, or add it under Account → Billing and it applies from the next invoice onward. Invoices are generated within four hours of payment, emailed to you, and stored in your account for seven years so your finance team can pull them at year end.
Account → Membership → Cancel. Two clicks, no retention call, no confirmation maze. Your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we revoke the UPI or card mandate with your bank the same day so nothing can be charged again by accident.
A full refund is available within 14 days of a first payment or an annual renewal, with no reason required. After 14 days, annual plans are refunded pro rata on request for the whole months remaining. Refunds are processed within two working days and reach your bank in five to seven.
No. We retry the charge three times over five days and give you a seven-day grace period on top, during which everything keeps working and you get one email and one in-account notice. Only after that does the account drop to the free tier, and nothing is deleted when it does.
Yes. Students get 50% off SportzCrazy+ at ₹75 a month or ₹599 a year against a valid student email or scanned institution ID, re-verified each August. Academies, clubs, libraries and newsrooms can license 10 seats or more from ₹899 per seat per year, billed annually against a GST invoice with purchase orders accepted.
Tips, contests we do not run, and the four rules that keep the forum worth reading.
No, and anybody who guarantees fantasy points is selling you something. Our tips are analysis of form, matchups, venue history and expected conditions, published so you can disagree with the reasoning rather than copy a team blindly. Nobody pays us for a player to appear in a tips column, and our writers cannot hold contest stakes on a match they are writing about.
Neither. SportzCrazy does not operate a real-money fantasy or betting product, does not take affiliate revenue from one, and refuses real-money betting and gambling creative on every surface including podcasts and the newsletter. Odds are occasionally cited in reporting as market information, never as a recommendation.
Four lines you cannot cross: no abuse of another member, no casteist, communal, racist or sexist slurs, no doxxing or sharing private information, and no piracy links, betting tips or affiliate spam. Everything else — including telling a reporter their take was rubbish — is fair game. We run a three-strike system, and threats of violence earn a permanent ban on the first offence.
Use the Report button on the post rather than replying to it. Reports are triaged within four hours during desk hours, Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST, and within twelve hours overnight and at weekends. You can also block a member instantly, which hides their posts from you everywhere on the site.
Yes. Every removal or suspension comes with the rule it breached and an appeal link. One appeal per decision is reviewed by a moderator who was not involved the first time, within three working days. Reversal statistics are published in our annual transparency note, and last year 11% of appeals succeeded.
Please pitch. Send two paragraphs on the idea and a link to anything you have written to info@catalystwebtrendz.com; we commission freelance match reports, tactical pieces and fan stories, and we pay per piece rather than per click. The one bar is a conflict of interest: we cannot publish you while you work for a club, agency or federation we cover.
Three weekly shows, a daily video desk, and the rights we can and cannot hand on.
The Third Umpire, Offside Rule and Pit Wall Radio are on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and the SportzCrazy site itself, all free. Members get every episode 48 hours early through a private RSS feed they can paste into any podcast app, which keeps their early access wherever they usually listen.
The Third Umpire lands Tuesday mornings, Offside Rule on Thursdays after the midweek fixtures, and Pit Wall Radio on the Monday following every Formula 1 race weekend. Tour and tournament specials are added during the IPL, the World Cup windows and the ISL play-offs, and members hear all of them two days ahead.
Yes, for every episode, published within 24 hours of release and free for everyone. They are human-checked rather than raw machine output, fully searchable, and readable with a screen reader. If you need a transcript faster for accessibility reasons, write to the desk and we will send the draft immediately.
Match highlights are licensed to us by rights holders and cannot be sublicensed, so we cannot give you permission for those. Our own studio material — interviews, analysis segments, podcast audio — can be used with credit and a link if you ask first. Embedding our player anywhere is always allowed.
Because host reads are recorded into the audio file itself rather than inserted dynamically, so there is no version of the episode without them. It is a deliberate choice: baked-in reads mean we can vet every sponsor personally instead of handing a slot to a programmatic exchange. Everything on the website and in the app is genuinely ad-free.
Where the money comes from, and the wall between it and the newsroom.
Advertising and memberships, in that order but by a shrinking margin. Reader revenue crossed 38% of the total in the twelve months to June 2026, up from 21% two years earlier. The rest is display, video, podcast sponsorship, newsletter placements and licensed data, all itemised on the pricing page.
No, and four rules make sure of it: no advertiser or partner sees a story before publication, commercial staff cannot commission, edit or spike editorial copy, paid content is labelled everywhere it appears, and no sponsor is given a right of reply that a non-sponsor would not get. We have run critical stories about current advertisers and expect to again.
With a red "Paid partnership" flag above the headline, the sponsor named in the byline instead of a journalist, a note at the foot of the article, the same label in every feed and card that links to it, and the word "sponsored" in the URL. It is written by our commercial studio, never by the newsroom, and it is excluded from the most-read rail.
We correct in public. Factual errors are fixed and a dated note is added at the foot of the article explaining what changed; anything that materially altered the meaning also gets a standalone entry in the corrections log. Report an error to info@catalystwebtrendz.com or WhatsApp +91-9953590779, and we action corrections within one working day.
We do not detect them, block you, or throw a modal wall in front of the story. If you are running one, the site simply works. We would rather tell you honestly that advertising pays for the free tier and let you decide — and if you can afford ₹149 a month, a membership is a better ad blocker than any extension, because it also pays the reporter.
No real-money betting, casino or gambling-adjacent fantasy creative runs anywhere on SportzCrazy, including podcasts, the newsletter and social. We also refuse takeovers of a live match centre, on the grounds that a page people are watching a game on should not be for sale. Those two rules have cost us business and they are not negotiable.
Start with the indicative rate card on our pricing page, which covers display, sponsored content, podcast host reads, video pre-roll and newsletter placements with CPMs and reach. Then email a brief to info@catalystwebtrendz.com or call +91-9953590779; the commercial desk replies within one working day, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST.
Four ways to reach a human at the newsroom. All of them are answered by the people who make SportzCrazy, not by an outsourced ticket queue — and every promise below is a target we publish our performance against in the annual transparency note.
